Smile card By Gemma

 Hello Everyone

For this post I wanted to share a small card with you. I thought this card was ideal just to drop a note to a friend to say smile we are thinking of you.

Being a very messy crafter I always cut a piece of card to work
on that I can then glue to the card blank.

To start I added a small amount of white paint to some Dylusions Squeezed Orange and painted a layer over the card. I then placed three small amounts of the same paint onto my craft mat and added the tiniest amount of black paint to the first pile and an even tinnier amount to the second, the third I left as it was. With these paints I stamped the lace background over the card and sponged through the dot mask.

Once dry, which took no time at all, I stamped Lesleys sunflower stamp, so only a small section of the flower showed at the top and although more of the stamp can be seen at the bottom it still over hangs the card.

I added the word smile from the framed words set and painted the flowers in using a mixture of the three paints, Orange, Black and white. Once it was totally dry I went around everything with a black pen and drew a wonky frame around the edge before gluing it in place on the card blank.

Monochrome Canvas by Debs

Hi Everyone

Here is my latest project for this months challenge a monochrome canvas

On an 8x8 canvas and using assorted Artistic Stamper masks i added paste through to create some texture

Then covered the whole lot with black gesso and using some cogs and some bits from the Jamboree bags and event some gauze.  a tattered floral mad using just card and the Tim Holtz Die, can you spot the cardboard photo frame.

Once everything was glued in place, i painted the whole thing in green mica powder and spritzed with water adding more to some areas and leaving some areas black

Steampunk sardine can by Titbelsoeur

Hi there !
Playing with sardine cans this time, I have decided to make another one with this wonderful vintage stamp from the Collage Art 1 A5 plate.
I have stamped it with Brown Archival ink on to a kraft piece of paper, and glued some cogs, screws, watch pieces and a cork. A washer at the bottom to have the can stable and a nut at the top :

Do you remember the one I made 3 years ago ? you will see it here : Don't think I eat nothing but sardines....by Titbelsoeur

Accordion fold card and box by Gemma

Hello Everyone

This months challenge theme on The Blog and Facebook page is Monochromatic. Here is a little more inspiration, there is still plenty of time to join in the fun, we love looking at all your creations.

For the card I cut a piece of card stock to measure 37.5cm x 14.5cm I scored this at 7.7cm intervals along the top and burnishes all the score lines. The box is a little bigger with plenty of space for a small gift to be placed underneath the card. The card for the box measured 41cm x 14.5cm. This needs score lines at 3cm, 16cm, 3cm,16cm with 3cm left along the 41cm side, and 3cm score lines along the 14.5 side (fingers crossed that made some kind of sense).

I brushed black and white Dylusions paint over both pieces of card, this blended together to give me lots of different shades of grey and white patches. I then randomly stamped both the Grid and Dots background stamps over the top using the black paint.

After drying that off with my heat tool I sponged some white paint through the random dots mask, then I stamped one of the Dog Rose stamps designed by Lesley Mathewson over the top with Archival Ink.

Once everything was dry I used Posca paint pens to colour the flowers in orange for a hint of colour, I also used the same pens to add dots to the centre of the flowers. I finished off by going around the edges of the flowers with a black pen and adding a quote from Georgia O'Keefe.

Yesterday is History........In Pink by Debs

Hi Everyone

Here is my latest project in the monochromatic challenge!

With this tag i used just one distress ink for the whole tag.

I used a large tag and covered it with Picked Raspberry

Next i took a selection of the new Artistic Stamper masks and again used the picked raspberry ink

I then stamped onto some book paper the new dog rose stamp from Lesley Mathewson and Yesterday is History..(stamp) and coloured them with picked raspberry

I also stamped some of the circles from the swirls and splats stamp

I then added some white pen to highlight the flowers and circles.
Thanks for popping by and looking forward to seeing more of your creations they are looking good so far!

You can interpret it any way you like, as long as there is rubber stamping in it.

As always, there will be candy for one randomly picked entrant - the winner will receive a stamp of their choice from The Artistic Stamper
In addition, you can enter the same challenge on Facebook!

Here is some creativity for you from the Creative Team to help you get started....

This card was created using three different Distress Inks and
new stamps from The Artistic Stamper. I used Framed Words 1 and the Mushroom Plate which was designed by creative team member Tit Belsoeur.

For my piece for the Monochrome challenge i used The Family Values A5 plate
